Summary: 1. Determine the installation height of the distribution box. For concealed installation, the bottom of the box should be 1.4 meters above the ground; for exposed installation, it should be 1.2 meters above the ground. However, for exposed meter boxes, the height should be increased to 1.8 meters. The vertical deviation in the installation of the distribution box should not exceed 3 mm, and the operating handle should be at least 20 mm away from the side surface. 2. When installing a distribution box concealed within a 240-mm-thick wall, an 10-mm-thick asbestos board and a wire mesh with 2-mm-diameter holes spaced 10 mm apart must be installed behind the wall. Then, the area should be plastered with a 1:2 cement mortar to prevent cracking. 3. The secondary-side wires connecting metering instruments, current transformers, and other devices inside the distribution box shall have a cross-sectional area of no less than 2.5 mm².
