What are the differences among various types of low-voltage switchgear cabinets, including GGD, GCS, GCK, and MNS?
Category: Industry News
Release time: 2022-03-03
Summary: ⑴ Operational differences: The GGD is easier to distinguish from the other three models. The GGD is a fixed-type switchgear, whereas the GCK, GCS, and MNS are all drawer-type switchgear. Each outgoing circuit unit in these latter models is independent, and there is no mutual interference between different circuits. Most of the switchgear currently produced have incorporated the advantages of the GCS model. What clearly distinguishes it from the GCS and MNS is its main busbar: the GCS, designed in the mid-1990s by Qianwei Electric Appliances of Ningbo City based on ABB’s MNS model, is a new-generation drawer-type switchgear whose main structure is similar to that of the MNS, with the main busbar positioned at the rear. ⑵ Different module sizes: The drawer modules adopt the commonly used 20mm module in China (M
